Scheduled from December 4th to 7th, this unique event gathers 16 exceptionally talented players under 18 from around the globe, promising a riveting competition with various time controls and game modes.

Format and Schedule:

The tournament will unfold in knockout format, commencing with the eighth-finals on December 4th at 19:00 CET. The subsequent rounds will follow on December 5th and 6th, leading up to the grand finale on December 7th. Each match will feature a combination of rapid, Chess 960, and blitz games, with an Armageddon tiebreaker in case of a draw.

Chess enthusiasts can enjoy live commentary by esteemed chess commentators, including Cécile Haussernot, Romain Édouard, Fabien Libiszewski, and Matthieu Cornette, providing insights and analysis throughout the tournament.

Al-Madinah Chess Festival:

This online youth tournament serves as a prelude to the grand Al-Madinah Chess Festival, scheduled from January 24th to 29th, 2024, in Medina, Saudi Arabia. The festival will encompass various events, including in-person youth tournaments, the Arabian Karpov Cup, and masterclasses by Romain Édouard and Abdessalem Sami, delving into the psychology of chess.
